Evans Lee | Team Kickin' Cancer
Evans's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
My name is Evans Lee, I am a sophomore at St. John's High School and I am involved in the St. John's cheer and lacrosse teams, as well as many other community service activities at SJS too. I am participating in the 2025 SVOY Candidacy to help others and help fundraise for those who are currenty going through treatment, along with my family who have been impacted by cancer. I am running in honor of many of my family members who have experienced cancer, and especially in honor of my mom, Amy Lee, and her 5 year anniversary of ringing the cancer-free bell. My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma when I was in 5th grade, and ever since, I have wanted to put my efforts towards helping those who are fighting cancer. My mom’s constant persistence and determination to fight through her cancer with every ounce of her body inspires me to help others as much as I can and I am so grateful that her body was able to respond to the rigorous cancer treatments that she had to go through. Her cancer journey has taught me that no matter the circumstance, faith, family, friends, and positivity will help you get through it. I am excited to participate in the 2025 SVOY Candidacy and I strive to be able to put my efforts towards helping others through this campaign.
This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!

I am so proud of Evans for kickstarting this fundraising effort with her team and incredibly proud of my sister, Amy Lee, for fighting as hard as she did to beat her cancer and continue to fight for others to beat theirs.
